Missions

 

As an international freight forwarder, you will be responsible for managing and organizing international freight shipments. Your main tasks will include :

  • Shipment management:Organize and coordinate shipments of goods, taking care to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Negotiation:Negotiate rates and conditions with carriers and logistics partners to optimize costs.
  • Shipment tracking:Track shipments and communicate with customers to keep them informed of the status of their goods.
  • Documentation:Prepare and check the documentation required for international shipments, including customs documents.
  • Problem solving:Identify and solve transport-related problems, proposing appropriate solutions.

 

Profile required

 

  • Degree in logistics, transport, international trade or similar field.
  • Previous experience as an international charterer or in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English (and other foreign languages is a plus).
